Research from Dan Zarrella has suggested that the best time to post content on Facebook is at the weekend as articles posted then tend to be shared the most. This is hardly surprising, with most employees unlikely to be able to get much ‘Facebook action’ in at work during the week.
This is all good intelligence for small business brands looking to increase the effectiveness of Facebook as a marketing channel.

As Dan explains: “While I found less articles posted on the weekends (notice the gray bars at the bottom of the graph which indicate volume of URLs analyzed for each day), those stories that were published on the weekends tended to be shared on Facebook more, on average, than stories that were published during the week.”
What do you think? Have you found posts at the weekend more effective?
