Twitter has 105 million users

At this weeks Twitter developer conference – #chirp – Twitter founder Biz Stone has revealed the true user figures for the social network.

A slide during his introductory talk at the start of the conference, revealed that Twitter currently has 105 million, or to be exact, 105,779,710.

Whilst this is still obviously down on Facebook’s estimated 450 million users, it is still an impressive amount and significantly more than many commentators expected.
